About this movie

From visionary director Harmony Korine comes a bold new vision of the seasonal American ritual known as spring break — the bacchanalia of bikinis, beach parties and beer bongs that attracts hordes of college students each year. Brit (Ashley Benson), Faith (Selena Gomez), Candy (Vanessa Hudgens) and Cotty (Rachel Korine) are best friends anxious to cut loose on their own spring break adventure, but they lack sufficient funds. After holding up a restaurant for quick cash, the girls head to the shore in a stolen car for what they discover is the party of a lifetime. They're thrown in jail — but quickly bailed out by Alien (James Franco), a local rapper, drug pusher and arms dealer who lures them into a criminal underbelly that's as lurid as it is liberating for a close-knit gang of girlfriends who are still figuring out their path. With a hallucinatory musical score by Cliff Martinez (DRIVE) and Skrillex, SPRING BREAKERS is an electrifying pop poem to girls gone wild. Harmony Korine unleashes a ferocious, feverish and furiously alive youth quake examining the sensory overload of a new generation of restless youth.

Let's face it, the majority of people out there are just renting this because the girls are in bikinis. You know where else to find girls in bikinis... the Internet or better yet how about real life. this movie is just terrible. it's an artsy film that the trailer makes it look like its a funny raunchy comedy like superbad and/or any of the other countless Judd Apatow movies. If you do stuff like acid then this is a perfect film for you. In my opinion just watch porn, the plots better.

K well i watched it all the way thru and one thing that annoyed me more than anything is that guys voice saying "spring break fo eva" over and effin over. The color schemes threw me off a bit as well. I get the point of the movie but I think they should have played it out a bit more in certain areas and less in others. The cast was alright didnt really bother me much. I think they should have made this film a little more real life. Btw the cover of the movie does NOT portray anything that the movie is about

First review I ever wrote. Only watched it because I love love LOVE Selena Gomez. I don't think I even got through a quarter of the movie that I decided this was a movie that would have never been made. I believe the movie was only created because the directors and other weirdos just wanted to watch Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Benson's bodies in in bikinis. (They forgot to cast Victoria Justice) No matter the case, I know that the acting that I was able to watch, can and has been a lot better, and their true talent that doesn't exist in this movie could have been given to a movie that is actually worth watching. It's just a shame that their talent was wasted on this movie.
