About this movie

He's back! From the filmmakers that brought you Chucky comes the terrifying return of the pint-sized doll possessed by the spirit of a notorious serial killer. When a mysterious package arrives at the house of Nica (Fiona Dourif, True Blood), she doesn't give it much thought. However, after her mother's mysterious death, Nica begins to suspect that the talking, red-haired doll her visiting niece has been playing with may be the key to the ensuing bloodshed and chaos. The return of America's favorite toy, voiced again by Brad Dourif, is unrated and full of more blood-splattered thrills and chills.

Okay so I expected this one to suck, majorly, but I was surprised. It is actually pretty good. The last two were just stupid, well I kind of liked Bride of Chucky but that's because I like Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany. This one takes a more serious route and ends the series with a little bit of a spoofy ending but it actually made it more entertaining. The concept of the film was pretty cool. I enjoyed the plot at least. Also I wasn't expecting the whole episode that happened in the kitchen lol! I didn't mind this movie at all and it's actually all in all pretty great! I wouldn't say make any more though except for a remake or something but let this be the last in the original series because to me it ends it pretty well :)

I was a little weary when I first saw that this movie was a going straight to video. But after watching Curse of Chucky, I was surprised this movie didn't receive a theatrical release. The Curse of Chucky is back where it belongs, a horror movie first. But not to worry, Chucky still throws in a laugh or two. Great movie. Highly recommend.

A good addition to the series. Going to pure horror seems refreshing. The last one got a bit messy although I love the comedy horror thing they did in the last two years
