This movie has a definite foundation for a good film. There is the cast of well-known comedians who are playing the adults in the film, but the three main characters come off as self-indulgent teens who are trying to find their way through life. I mean, I guess that's the point of a coming of age film, but when I hear a Kanye West knock-off song during a sunrise scene is a bit much. I get the feeling that this is Walden played by a 15 year old who is mad at their parents. After about half way through the film, it begins to focus on a bunch of daydream scenes that add nothing to the film concept. Then it all tumbles apart because of a girl...

The Kings of Summer, can easily be listed as one of the best movies I have ever seen in my entire life. This movie teaches you a very valuable lesson about how even in the darkest of times, you will still have confidence in your self to achieve outstanding things. The plot takes a dark turn as the friends that build the very house that they live in, are being turned against each other slowly each and every day. This movie is definitely a must see!

This is one of my favourite movies of all time. It just all made sense to me and connected with me, and it used comical values so I didn't feel all that mushy at the end. I highly suggest it. Still love it after seeing it for the first time in 2014
