Most revealing plot twist is at the end. Highly recommend. Many vets experience flash backs. Add to this the reason for hallucinations and you've got the world Tim Robbins (Jacob) is experiencing. Conspiracy theorists will love this as there is lots of truth now exposed about some of the activities of our government during the Vietnam War.

Brilliant film. So many movies have tried & failed to imitate its poignance. And contrary to some opinion, the "pieces" of the film fit flawlessly. Failure to see that is a sure sign you're an idiot. The ending is a no-brainer - literally.

Stunning and haunting. I don't know how they got this so right . If you were in the military during this era, this will make you rethink every moment of your life . If Apocalypse Now and The Age of Aquarius got married and had a baby , this movie would be it.
