Very good movie. Of course so-called film critic Peter Travers hated it. I have read most of his movie reviews and he hates almost all movies even really good movies that moviegoers love. In my humble opinion Travers is the best example of a jealous, no-talent, arrogant "movie critic" who spends all his/her time insulting and denigrating movies for a living. This is the same Peter Travers who has written some of the most disgusting comments about Michael Jackson. Don't forget "Rolling Stone" always treated Michael with disrespect and arrogance. Why? Because that magazine idolizes scumbags like Mick Jagger? An idiot who struts around the stage singing ridiculous songs and who has about eight children from about six women most of whom he never married. Sounds like somebody to idolize. Meanwhile the REAL Michael Jackson deserves enormous praise and all of our respect. Sorry. Just had to get it out about Travers. I am sick to death of all his nastiness and negativity.

Loved this movie--toss up between this and "The Way We Were" for Babs. She has great chemistry with her costars. Now I say that she married Kris Kristofferson didn't she?

Streisand has made an exceptional film. It seems it should have won a number of academy awards. Exceptional acting and marvelously creative and talented direction.
