About this movie

Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Meryl Streep team for the first time in this thrilling drama about the unlikely partnership between Katharine Graham, publisher of The Washington Post, and hard-nosed editor Ben Bradlee, as they expose a cover-up of government secrets spanning three decades. While there's some relevancy to today's political climate, this is one of the laziest, most boring movies I have ever seen. There's a bunch of pointless build-up to a very disappointing ending. I can't believe this was nominated for Best Picture. Do not waste your time, maybe read the Wikipedia article or something.

Spare yourself the agony of watching Meryl rub Tom Hank's shoulders as they decide to take on the evil American government. If you want to learn the facts of these events watch a History Channel documentary instead of liberal Hollywood's reinterpretation of events in this anti-Trump propaganda piece.

This movie was just beautiful. The camera work was stunning, I loved the acting, and I found the story fascinating. (But part of it may just have been my JOURNALISM teacher pausing every few minutes to give background information.) The ending is also great, talk about cliffhanger.
