About this movie

Joe Dirt is a janitor with a mullet hairdo, acid-washed jeans and a dream -- to find the parents he lost at the Grand Canyon when he was a belligerent, trailer park-raised, eight-year-old. Now, the irrepressibly optimistic Joe hits the road alone in search of his folks, but as Joe's life story unfolds, jeers turn to cheers, and an entire captivated city tunes in to hear the adventures of Joe Dirt. A lot of pretentious jerks are gong to say this movie sucks and from a critical standpoint it does but if you like any of Adam Sandler's early movies or just David Spade in general you will love this. It's very satirical and if you live in the south you will definitely know a guy like this . It's really just a cult classic I don't know anyone who doesn't know a line from this movie. Obviously it's not an academy award winner and it's not going to make you contemplate how you live your life but it doesn't have to it's just a fun watch.

I really didn't want to like this film, but it's actually pretty charming and funny and I liked David Spade in it (And I almost never like David Spade!) This is a charming movie that doesn't deserve a sequel

Title explains it. Funny to see every 4 years or so, it'll knock your socks off the first time.
