By far the best of the Nightmare sequels. They could have left out all the others and just rounded out a trilogy with Freddy V. Jason (a guilty pleasure for sure, but still better than the majority of it's precedents). The series was further developed in meaningful ways here, particularly with the honed powers of the Dream Warriors who learned how to give Freddy a run for his money.

To the casual/new fan~ A Nightmare on Elm Street part 1 & 3: The Dream Warriors are easily the best and only 2 movies in the entire series worth your time. Continuity speaking, you toss in part 7 "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" for a solid trilogy. All of the other films, take 'em or leave 'em, plus or minus; those movies are truly for the "fans"😉 All I gotta say about the abundance of sequels is that 8 out of 9 of the NOES films star Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger and that's a treasure. A win👍

I grew up on these movies (nightmare, Friday the 13, Halloween etc.) And Freddy is one of my favorite of all 7 (8 counting remake) this is the best. The first was great bit a tag slow. This brought a high speed action packed Nightmare on elm street. The last good one. The rest of wich are goofy and pointless. This movie gets an A grade from me.
