Wonderfully made film. It was very artistically created, very deep and vulnerable. You would have to know this kind of cinematic movie styling in order to appreciate its depth, quality, and lesson it offers. Also the styling is beautifully done, from the French Rivera scenery, to the simplistic yet chic French clothes, the stunning sea views, to the sporty little car, and to the little French cafe's and stores. The viewer is immediately transformed back into that time and place. Aside from that, the story is a reflection of what happens when a marriage/relationship breaks down. This can be hard for people to watch because yes, marriages do tend to get boring, change over time, lose their luster. This film is very raw and shows two actors in a vulnerable state and it opens up discussion about how we as a society are conditioned about what marriage should and shouldn't be between two people and what comes along with it, all the hurts, the pains, the traumas. If you want to explore this topic a bit more I suggest you give it a go.

I will say this without a shred of sarcasm: It can be difficult to be an attractive couple. Life can be hard for rich, successful and attractive people, when they're being denied access to other, just as essential and meaningful elements of a fullfiling life. Furthermore, when one is desperately trying to accept the unwanted hand that's been dealt to them, one can post facto try to create a reason for it , just so that the game makes sense again. Witches become bad&sad if unable to accept love.

Never saw this movie, but I'll review Jeffs comment. I'll give it one star because of whine but no cheese. It tends to drag on and not make any sense at times. Also, he used five stars... that's too many. Just because Google gives you five stars doesn't mean you use them all. Slow down buddy. But that's my "2 cents".
