About this movie

Brilliant but befuddled Professor Phillip Brainard (Robin Williams) is on the brink of inventing a revolutionary energy source and missing his wedding to fiancee Dr. Sara Jean Reynolds (Marcia Gay Harden) -- president of financially challenged Medfield College -- for the third time! When Phillip experiments with his own big bang theory, a miraculous elastic good -- Flubber -- emerges, leaving him ecstatic, but unmarried! Phillip and his flying cyber sidekick, Weebo, soon discover that Flubber, applied to anything, enables it to bounce super high and fast. However, many questions remain. Is Flubber good enough to win Sara back, save Medfield from its financial problems, and slip through the hands of the evil financier who is bankrolling the college? FLUBBER slips, slides, giggles, glides, flips, and flies -- the stuff of surefire family entertainment.

Legend of a film. One of the most iconic films, I got to watch as a kid, during my childhood, on cassete, and still happy to see I still have that cassete. A truly classic film, worth watching, especially with it's storyline, comedy and the legendary Robin Williams. Such a shame they don't make movies like this anymore, and that we lost Robin so young yet. This film, will always be a classic, and one of the most underrated classics there is, especially with Disney. How I miss these days man.

I literally remember watching this movie on cassette during my childhood with my parents as well as my twin brother. What's even best about it; is that it was one of the first movies as an immigrant alongside my dad that we watched together and even talk about to this day especially the flying car scene, the beginning of the movie with flubber's creation and the basketball scene. Not only that but even to this day I still have the cassette. Such an underrated, legendary as well as classical film. Like I could keep going on and on about how amazing this movie is, and how much it meant to me during my childhood and even now still does. Its truly a film worth watching, especially with it's storyline, comedy and of course the legendary Robin Williams. I still remember the day he passed away, and I instantly remembered about this film and even went back to it. Really sad that we lost Robin Williams so young especially how legendary he was as well as still is. Like it's just giving me so much nostalgia, and childhood memories as I'm writing this. Like right now, I'm literally remebering the movie from start to finish as I'm writing this. They just don't make movies like these anymore that last forever in your memories and that means so much. What a great time this was, and how I miss these days man. Such an underrated classic as well, especially as a Disney film. Time just passes by so fast.

Awesome remake of The Abscent-minded Professor, with contemporary witty humor. I mean, it's Robin Williams!
