About this movie

Blinded and left to die in Vietnam, Nick Parker (Rutger Hauer) has been missing in action for more than two decades. Finally home, he sets out to find and forgive his old Army buddy, Frank Deveraux (Terrance O'Quinn). Forced to cook up designer drugs for a corrupt casino boss, Deveraux talks, putting his ex-wife and son in danger. Caught in the middle and with henchmen in close pursuit, Nick uses his highly tuned senses to escape in an action-packed cross-country battle. Well it's certainly fun but is it good... Hard to tell. It's typical 80's action with bad guys who are bad for no real reason and I actually miss that. Bad guys in films these days are more misunderstood and overly complicated but not in the 80's and not here. One of the first scenes involves a group of people instantly picking on the lead character in an eatery for being blind! Then they steal a woman's handbag... For no reason other than a set up to get their asses kicked.
