Waterworld

Incredibly, this film ended up with the dubious distinction of appearing on lists of all time worst movies. Unjustified really. Waterworld is a marvelous scifi adventure flick that is being reappraised and better appreciated as the years go by. At the very least, it's well on it's way to being regarded as something of a cult classic. Original, beautifully shot and terrifically entertaining. Enjoy for what it is.

Wow! It's been a minute since I've watched this train wreck of a film. It is purely 90's junk food cinema. The story and dialogue make this film laughable at every turn. The ending is completely absurd and lacks any eal emotion. *Spoiler alert (like it matters, this movie is almost 3 decades old), why the hell does the Mariner leave the island after spending an entire lifetime, (and movie) searching for and fantasizing about finding land? It is absolutely stupid. The 2 writers are equally lame.

I love this movie but I couldn't make it past 13 minutes due to server errors. I am highly upset I paid for it here just to rent it on Amazon were it actually played.
