About this movie

The classic and beloved story from Dr. Seuss is now a CG animated film from 20th Century Fox Animation, the makers of the Ice Age films. An imaginative elephant named Horton (Jim Carrey) hears a faint cry for help coming from a tiny speck of dust floating through the air. Horton suspects there may be life on that speck and despite a surrounding community, which thinks he has lost his mind, he is determined to save the tiny particle! Jim Carrey and Steve Carell lead an all-star cast in bringing this wonderful family picture to life!

An energetic and charming cartoon with big laughs, big heart, a big animal, and big faith to the spirit of the source material. the comedy and jokes are executed wonderfully in terms of the script, direction, screenplay, and voice-acting. the animation is beautifully energetic, expressive, fluid, and has full of life, and has a stellar voice-cast to match. Almost every character in this film are easily memorable, endearing, and perfectly constructed. the narration is good-natured for all ages. The final resolution on how this movie ends is very satisfying. As for flaws, there are some unexpected unacceptable moments for it's so called 'G-rated' content: Calling names that are considered to be insulting, some mild jumpscares, and some exaggeratingly creepy imagery. It has all the ingredients to be highly recommended for every family: Great big comedy, agreeably cartoony results, great respect for purists, has structure that will invite children, teenagers, and adults, And strong messages about no matter how small people are, caring for others, and having faith. suitable for ages 5 to 95.

I just can't get past the original animated Dr Seuss movies. If you are a fan of the original, I doubt you'll be impressed. but if your kids have not seen the oldies but goodies, they will enjoy it . after all it's Dr Seuss's stories come out of the book and to the TV screen.
