About this movie

Hazel (Shailene Woodley) and Gus (Ansel Elgort) share a sarcastic wit, a disdain for the ordinary, and a love that sweeps them on an unforgettable journey. Although the teens face challenges, they learn that while life isn’t perfect, love is extraordinary. Laura Dern (Little Fockers) and Sam Trammell (TV’s True Blood) also star in this powerful film based on John Green’s New York Times bestseller.

...so I don't think I'll be watching it again. I'm not one for sad flics, so this may not be the most ideal review. Maybe the fact that it moved me like it did says something positive for you, though. Eh...either way I hope you don't find fault in my two stars. Maybe this rating will simply help movies like this from showing up on any recommended list in the future.

I've got cancer & in some ways it was real. I was mostly waiting for it to be over. Think it's dumb about how they r all about some book, without an ending. When ur terminal u dont waste ur precious time worring about some fictional book w/o an ending. And the whole "ok" thing has been worn out prior to this coming out with it. In many ways it's forgettable.

Very good movie. Acting was exquisite with the romance part very nice and sappy but I honestly did not cry. It was emotional yes but a very happy emotional feeling. Not a tear fest, although I was making jokes to compensate for the drama that caused girls and a old lady to move away from my friends and I. "Death is but the next great adventure. Don't pity the dead Harry, pity the living." -Dumbledore
