The Boy and the Beast (Original Japanese Version)

This one is merely good, but really weak in comparison to Wolf Children and Summer Wars (may their smoke rise up forever).

Comes up short in comparison to other animations. The art work quality is on par, however the pace is somewhat choppy and all over the place. Hard to recommend amongst all the better of this genre, however if youve already watched all Ghilbli's film, then might as well watch this as well.

I do not have the words to describe how good this movie is, you need to get it and watch it. This movie is a good as Wolf Children or the girl who leapt through time. Are those tears??? No something got in my eye all throughout the movie ;)
