I Can Only Imagine

This film I decided to watch today on Easter Sunday 2022, as one I missed seeing in theaters 4 years ago and was yet to watch, in the theme of new life. Dennis Quaid and Trace Adkins are entertainers that I like, and yet in this film they are a part of such a redemptive true story larger than one person, with Quaid playing the dad of the singer whose life did a 180 degree turn for better, and Adkins playing the man who works in the music industry and who goes infinitely beyond the attendance counts and bucks on a spreadsheet and instead goes right to the heart of the singer's background and story to bring him from act to authentic.

This is one of the most inspiring movies that's amazingly a true story. It hits home, deep, within the very core of you taking your breath away. The severity of His love, the lengths He will go through...bending over backwards and wanting to help us with his divine, effortless love that knows no bounds, this Non-Fiction movie brings me to my knees. It's heart-warming beyond any words, and will have you re-examing yourself and becoming a believer if you weren't already!

Powerfully moving, emotionally uplifting and inspirational. I can only imagine is what a Christian movie should look like, telling an emotionally resonating story about a Christian man without shoehorning in the Christian beliefs. This makes your story more intriguing and powerful and inspiring. I think this movie has Dennis Quad's best performance of his entire career and newcomer Michael J Finnely gives a sky rocketing career starting performances. My only few issues with the movie is that the pacing is a bit off turning the beginning and middle of the movie, but when we get towards the main conflict of the movie, things pick up and it becomes really emotional and engaging. Highly recommend this movie to everyone!!!
