Chasing Trane: The John Coltrane Documentary

I geniunly enjoyed this documentary. This film put Coltrane's music onto frame of his life; what events have shaped his musical journey and what he tried to convey through his music. The interviews were able to express and put into words how I feel when listening to Coltrane. How there is something more to this music than I am able to conceive right now and maybe that's why I keep coming back to it. Sometimes the person giving the interview wouldn't be able to find a word, and they would just cut it there, and that is a perfectly valid statement I think. You can tell this film was created by people who are truly passionate about Coltrane's legacy.
