Relatable and Resounding I may not state enough wonderful comments over the film. I feel that it is such an important, meaningful and timely work! I implore everyone to watch the movie. The acting, cinematography and soundtrack were phenomenal. The plot uncovers the effects of neglectful or poor choices in one day and how catastrophic those results may be. I love how the mean girls are humanized! After all, the protagonist is not the leader of the troop. Reasons are explained for poor behavior. I went to watch the film in the movie theater--three times--and was floored. Its message changed me and I hope the work echoes with you as well after the final credits.

I loved this movie! It is the first one that hasn't disappointed me when I see it after reading the book. I can imagine it's difficult to turn a 300+ page book into a screenplay & then into a movie, truly. But it doesn't make it any less annoying when the movies always fail to impress! This one, however, really did the book justice. All of the important info in the book was included; usually my main complaint. I think that the message, regardless of how cliche it might be or how many times that this type of book/movie has been made, rings true & in this particular movie there is some originality to that message. Perfect choices for the parts of Sam & Lindsay. All of the other characters were also well cast, in my opinion. Maybe a different Kent, but other than that, no complaints. I highly recommend this one!

I read this book like two years ago. I cried at the end while I was in my dentist chair. I was so afraid that the movie would blow it so I didn't watch it. I finally gave in and watched it. Its a short book with allot more info. I don't understand why they couldn't have made it the same, but we all know books are better. I recommend reading this book first. It is bittersweet with a slight addition and change in the ending.
