The story just sucks with this misguided villain Igami and no real
development or resolution to his story at the end of it. Igami is just an
abandoned vehicle after a joy ride. At least that's what it feels like. I'm
also disappointed that Kaiba doesn't really duel anyone worth dueling
outside of Yugi. The Kaiba vs Yugi duel was lackluster at best. The
animation is good and you'll see some new cards but that's about all it has
going for it.

The movie was awesome out of all the Yu Gi Oh franchise, the villain Aigami, also known as Diva was the best villain ever so far, and at the ending, the scene where the pharaoh returned was my favorite scene ever, and they made great designs on Dark Magician and Blue Eyes White Dragon, and I also liked the part where Kaiba summoned Neo Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, and how he also summoned Obelisk The Tormentor. And that is why Dark Side of Dimensions is very great movie of the Yu Gi Oh franchise.♥

Here's the thing. I've been a die hard Yugioh fan for the majority of my life. This movie in all honesty, it had a lot of cool animation and beautiful designs that were an amazing improvement from the other movies. But the main problem that I had was that it was misplacing the story a bit, it seemed more concerned giving the story to the newer characters, while leaving the older characters feeling as more of a side characters. Definitely not a bad thing here, but it wasn't the point that I got the movie. Five stars because my inner child loves it, but I wish they had went a different direction with the story.
