About this movie

Aubrey and Paul Davison decide to celebrate their wedding anniversary by inviting their four children and their significant others to a family reunion at their remote and slightly rundown weekend estate. But the family reunion goes awry when their home comes under siege by a mask-wearing team of crossbow-bearing assailants. The family has no idea who's attacking them, why they're under attack, or if the attackers are inside or outside the cavernous, creaking house. All they know for certain is that nobody is safe.

If you are just hanging out, it's worth the $3 to rent it. It was definitely entertaining, though some of the acting was lacking and the plot was not even a little shocking or complicated (contrary to what I read in a review). Whoever baited me into watching this by saying it was original must have never seen a horror movie in their life. There was one decent twist at the very end. Nowhere near the best horror movie, but not the worst. Plus, it's only 90 mins.

This movie has an very creative and original plot. Although, the acting could have been better. And usually I'm not the one to complain about gore because I love it, but this movie had just a tad bit too much. Overall I give this movie two stars, maybe two and a half, but only because of how creative it was. If I were you, I would rent it only. Not worth $13.

There were several things to not like about the movie: a few of the characters weren't very memorable, the music was repetitive, there were a couple of things that didn't make complete sense, it seemed a bit random at times, and the name was kind of forced, but goddamn it was one of the most original pieces of works I've seen in years. Maybe you could argue that the actual plot and plot twists weren't too original, but the main character and pretty much all of the deaths were. Speaking of the main character, she was simply amazing. Kind of like Sidney Prescott meets Lara Croft meets Kevin McCallister. Plus, it did it's job as a horror movie; I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time.
