About this movie

The sequel to the worldwide smash hit “Olympus Has Fallen,” a non-stop, suspenseful action thriller that delivers high-octane excitement through a heightened sense of authenticity. The visceral intensity springs from a timely premise: after the British Prime Minister passes away, his funeral becomes a target of a terrorist organization to destroy some of the world’s most powerful leaders, devastate the British capital, and unleash a terrifying vision of the future. The only hope of stopping it rests on the shoulders of the President of the United States (Aaron Eckhart) and his formidable Secret Service head (Gerard Butler), and an English MI-6 agent (Charlotte Riley) who rightly trusts no one. Morgan Freeman also stars as the Vice President of the United States. (Original Title - London Has Fallen) - 2016 Focus Features. All Rights Reserved.

This movie got 4 1/2 stars? This is the most skewed rating system on the Net. This movie was a 2 hour insult to the UK. Terrorists infiltrate every level of British law enforcement and take over the city. While still a majority, loyal cops simply go home and cede the city to the terrorists so that no one confuses terrorists with real cops. That is probably the dumbest plot device I've ever seen for explaining why the lone-wolf secret service agent has to fight alone to cross the city with the president in tow. There is tons of action but it's so stupid that you can't have fun watching it.

I am astounded this movie is at 4.1 stars. I can usually sit through pretty much anything as long as I can find something redeeming about it. I didn't make it through this one. Bad acting, bad script and the most ridiculous and absurdly improbable story you can imagine. The only thing that wasn't bad were the special effects, they were merely mediocre. Don't waste a penny on this dreadful movie.

Only a brain-dead, mentally retarded, Muslim loving, Obama voting liberal would call this movie racist. Terrorism is not a race and Islam is not a race. Islam is not a religion either ( not any more than Nazism was a religion or Mein Kampf was a holy book). It's an OK movie to watch if you feel like watching a movie. The scenario is not impossible if you look at the people that Obama has infiltrated our government and our courts with.
