A Most Wanted Man

A Most Wanted Man is definitely not a film for everybody. It's a slow burn espionage movie base on a true story. Don't come in expecting James Bond or Jason Bourne to shoot up a place. Come in expecting Philip Seymour Hoffman tracking a potential terrorist in Germany following his movement one step at a time. It's an interesting story, and if you like dramas or spy films grounded in reality, like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, then you'll enjoy this.

A slow mover with kind of an anticlimactic final resolution in the end. Still a good story to follow.....at least the antagonist got what he should have. The story makes you question these cases on a person by person basis which is extremely inefficient and ultimately slower in the execution of the final decision whether guilty or innocent; with extra variables to consider before making your choice. After all it IS fiction, but it could happen.

This one started slow and simply kept that pace. An hour into the movie, I felt like I had just started watching. The progression was extremely slow and the character build up just was not there. Not a fan.
