Mother And Child (2010)

I remember when this was released and I too also saw it in a very small theatre in Manhattan over by Lincoln Center and when I left that theatre...my goodness, I barely made it into the subway let alone my studio apartment in Hell's Kitchen before I burst into tears and I am NOT by any means a very emotional person! How the stories were interwoven so tragically and yet still so beautifully touched me so deeply! If you have never EVER seen this movie then I implore you...WATCH THIS! You will never be the same! It was so cathartic for me, but regardless this phenomenal cast really brought their A game!

What I appreciated most was seeing Samuel Jackson playing a serious character in love. In addition, Kerry's acting is amazing in this movie. I was able to catch this in an indie movie house. As I was adopted, I really appreciated the themes and the overall quality of the film. It was thoughtfully written and directed.

I was fortunate enough to view this movie in an extremely small audience. This may be one of the best movies you've never seen.
