Home for the Holidays

This may be my favorite movie. It had such well established actors, but no part was greater than the whole. No movie ever nailed what it's like being a fully grown person and spending time in the echo of your child/teen-hood. I'd rather buy it than rent it, but I will have to settle for renting it.

A holiday classic without the treacle. Robert Downey Jr (unfiltered) steals all of the scenes. This is an amazing all-star ensemble and it feels like Jodie Foster let her stars do their thing. Perhaps I'm biased as a Baltimoron, but this movie has real holiday heart.

This movie is perfect in every way. A truly timeless classic with incredible performances by all. Required viewing for anytime that has had to spend Thanksgiving with their family, whether they've wanted to or not. I can't recommend it enough.
