About this movie

From master storyteller Jim Sheridan (My Left Foot, In The Name of the Father) comes a deeply personal and poignant tale of a poor Irish family searching for a better life In America. Through the wide-open eyes of two young heroines, Sheridan transforms a devastating human tragedy into a riveting, humor-tinged story about memory, secrets, love, loss, coming together, and starting over.

One of my top 5 my favorite movies and soundtracks of my lifetime. I I am 50 years old and have been a professional musician most of my life. The song time enough first track has the best lyrics I've heard in a very very long time. And I admit I certainly haven't heard everything, but this movie and soundtracks are the bee's knees! I can't think of any friend I have that would not enjoy it. It's moving its sad it's happy its rejoiceful its inspirational its funny and will make any heart cry!
