Never Surrender: A Galaxy Quest Documentary

I was able to see this documentary at a Fathom screening. I loved it! Never Surrender is a celebration of the lightning in a bottle that was Galaxy Quest. The interviews with the filmmakers were fascinating. It's worth the purchase price for one Alan Rickman story. In addition, Never Surrender explores the surprising impact the film has had through interviews with Damon Lindelof and Greg Berlanti, among others. If you love Galaxy Quest, Never Surrender is a must own.

A love letter to a love letter. The hairs on the back of neck kept standing up and I welled up with nostalgia as the cast and fans re-lived this great movie with me. I think they released this in theaters first to possibly get an Oscar nomination. If I was a member of the Academy I would vote for it.

As much of an Alan Rickman tribute as it is a tribute to Galaxy Quest. Very well done. There is an odd issue in the digital release where the audio is mixed poorly between dialogue and music, but it's still audible enough. Thank you to the production team who made this documentary!
