Lewis is a twelve-year-old orphan who has lived throughout his entire childhood in the orphanage with one-hundred and twenty-four adoption interviews. Until one day, he invented a brand new machine called the memory scanner to find his mother that he never knew and go back to her. Unfortunately, his project broke down, all thanks to a vengeful crook named Michael Yagoobian (better known as the "Bowler Hat Guy"), who has so much enthusiasm to ruin his future. Until a vigilant teenager named Wilbur gets Lewis to the future to prove that he is a time cop and get him to fix his machine. The premise of this story makes this movie absolutely persuasive, and the whole movie itself successfully lives up to the premise's full potential. Dorothy McKim (producer) and Stephen Anderson (director/co-writer) has proved that animated films from Walt Disney can't always team up with Pixar to make the best of the best. The whole plot alongside it's storytelling is intelligent, compelling, and contains considerable depth. The story is also innovative enough to deliver an inspiring message about keep moving forward and accepting your failure and eventually learn from it. Not only that "Meet the Robinsons" offers an incredible achievement in storytelling, it is also a hilarious diversion, thanks to Anderson's brilliant direction. From the well-utilized timing to the efficient manipulation, his masterful direction for every meticulous aspect of the movie makes this an unforgettable winner. The vibrant animation is a major delight; the visually engaging animation is dynamic when it changes from highly upbeat to dark and gloomy with colors and the emotion on the character's faces. The animation has a slick sense of humor and timing; the speed of the animation is so quick and it is so well-designed, that I could not help but laugh, and I laughed so often. But this movie didn't always make me laugh, because there are some frantic dramatic sequences as well. The characters are so much fun and they have a lot of convincing emotion to convince pretty much anyone. Lewis is a deeply sympathetic underdog who gets stimulated by learning something and is emotionally voiced by Jordan Fry. Wesley Singerman's voice-acting makes his character Wilbur sound energetic and always on the alert. Angela Bassett sounds warm and maternal as Mildred. Harland Williams is amusing as Carl the robot. Nicole Sullivan is so cute as Franny. Ethan Sandler is phenomenal; hilariously voicing seven characters with his changing vocal range, and so is Don Hall. Stephen Anderson himself is superbly amusing as the voice of Bowler Hat Guy; he sounds sinister, enthusiastic, and somber. As a character, Bowler Hat Guy is a fantastic antagonist; he is an sinister menace with the enthusiasm to search for Lewis and change his future, a highly amusing eccentric comic relief with a lack of brightness to his IQ, and a sympathetic man with a pitiful backstory. His character feels surprisingly grounded. He is not alone: he has a sidekick named Doris, a bowler hat that is a living manipulative weapon of intelligence and chaos. The asset that enhances the whole movie is the excellent score by Danny Elfman, because his score has the instrumentation, tempos, and melodies to make his score sprightly and emotional. There are also some upbeat songs in the soundtrack that are a perfect fit for the elements of the storytelling. To conclude: Stephen Anderson's exceptional direction for his brilliant animated masterpiece will let kids and adults be inspired by it's astonishing plotline, while be highly entertained by the frequently hilarious entertainment value. Highly Recommended!

I can't help but cry tears of HOPE every time I watch this movie. It shines a light on how the future can be so much brighter if we all just keep moving forward. Has to be one of my favorite movies of all time! (Plus there's no contest- little wonders by Rob Thomas is my #1 song of all times) <3

It's plot was good, the characters are all quirky in their own way yet they make it work for them, good character development, it wasn't that funny except for the T-Rex and the frogs. The best thing about this movie though is it gives me hope and makes me want to "Keep Moving Forward". Love the movie and I recommend it to anyone.
