It's disappointing, and then it turns to insulting once you look up the actual person this is based on. The real man is so inspirational and amazing that every change didn't just make it worse as a movie, it made it insulting. I don't have nostalgia since I never saw this as a kid, so that may have some affect.

This movie is very insulting. There is an actual Patch Adams and they portray him as a clown in this movie. Dont waste your money on a movie that is "based on a true story" they even made a fictional character that was suppose to be patch's friend but the director decided to change the gender and make her the love interest. Terrible movie.

I have grown up with Robin and I never will get tired of him. Yes he is a man of comedy but he also has this serious and sentimental side of him and it will always touch my heart.
