Amazing movie with amazing music, singing, and dancing. I watch this with my daughter and she just loves it. We crack up when Ms. Hannigan says "She went to the bathroom" in her funny voice. Also, my fav song is Hard Knock Life (partially cause of Jay-Z) and hers is Never Fully Dressed. I also told her that she needs to learn to defend herself like Annie did with the boys bothering Sandy. :) Enjoy with your kids!

Sometimes I like remakes but this version is far superior, much more theatrical and stylish as a musical, and a period piece that reflected the comic strip origins of little orphan Annie (thus the over the top but elegantly played Rooster by Tim Curry and Carol Burnette's unforgettable Ms. Hannigan). These scenes were well choreographed, the costumes and scenery took more effort, and well, this Annie's version of "Tomorrow" portrayed actual vocal talent instead of auto tune. A childhood favorite.

I have to say this version is way f**king better then the 2014 film. As soon as I saw the trailer for the newer version & it's kinda crappy foster homes, modern day bullsh!t, Annie being a literate in the newer one & she can read in this this film I'm sorry this version is way better cause I watched way too many times until another movie messed me up and it's still my favorite version
