About this movie

Based on Lawrence Block’s bestselling series of mystery novels, A Walk among the Tombstones stars Liam Neeson as Matt Scudder, an ex-NYPD cop who now works as an unlicensed private investigator operating just outside the law. When Scudder reluctantly agrees to help a heroin trafficker (Dan Stevens) hunt down the men who kidnapped and then brutally murdered his wife, the PI learns that this is not the first time these men have committed this sort of twisted crime…nor will it be the last. Blurring the lines between right and wrong, Scudder races to track the deviants through the backstreets of New York City before they kill again.

I went to go see this movie for my birthday last year. I thought it was a good movie. But after his recent interview where he thinks that Americans owning firearms is just ridiculous, I've lost a lot of respect for this guy. We have a right to bear arms, and I really don't care why he's against Americans owning them. No more of my hard-earned money going towards any future movies with him in them.

After seeing taken 1 & 2, I was expecting something good from this movie. Instead it completely sucked! He's old & tired and it showed. He was hired because supposedly he was the best at what he does. Instead he got his a$$ kicked throughout the whole movie & needed help from some kid and barely wins in the end. The movie was so slow & drawn out - they got the name right a walk amongst the tombstones cuz it was jus that. Completely a waste of money and time. Disappointed!! Don't even bother

I was very disappointed with the plot and the acting. Everyone in the movie seemed tired, really. I mean all the characters were "worn out" and lacking any energy. It is awfully hard to get into any movie when it seems everyone acting would rather be napping. The plot as a whole was so incredibly predictable as to be beyond boring. The whole ransom movie thing has been done far better (take "Ransom" for instance) and with far better acting. Just a totally unnecessary movie.
