I loved the album to bits, but the movie was such a major letdown. I payed 99 cents for this and I want my money back. The visuals were fantastic, but the music and sometimes the pacing and other elements I can't really put into words, spoiled it for me. I get that it's an adaptation but it just doesn't feel anything like its source material. I'm not even angry, I'm just really REALLY sad. *curls up in a ball and goes deaf dumb and blind*

The movie brings to life the breakthrough '68 album "Tommy." A unique story filled with hope, love, fantasy and desperation. Each song is it's own story, amusingly portrayed by some of the top talents of 1975, and spectacularly photographed, are geniously woven together. It is pinnacle story telling with rock music. Enjoy it for what it brings - heightened stumuli of all your senses. The ending is sure to invigorate & modivate you!
