About this movie

There are two sides to every war, and a mysterious gun-for-hire is on both of them as rival Mafia groups battle to the death in this action-packed thriller.Based on the story "A Fistful of Dollars" and the story "Yojimbo" by Ryuzo Kikushima and Akira Kurosawa.

A solid retelling of a well-worn tale. The unique Prohibition-era setting and over-the-top gunplay make it worth a watch, and the cast is terrific. The story won't surprise you, but the execution will entertain you. And it has a great score by Ry Cooder.

Yes I love my favorite classic films 1996 Bruce Willis movies from director by Walter Hill so much from last summer break I'll have to watch again on Tubi app from my Xbox one console system, cause I like all my favorite classic films early 80s or early 90s on Walter Hill movies was Wild Bill classic Western Movie 1995, 48 Hours, Another 48 Hours, Extreme Prejudice 1987, Red Heat 1988 starting Schwarzenegger and Belushi & The Last Man Standing 1996.

tomatoes has it WRONG! This movie is a fantastic retelling of yojimbo in a unique setting with great performances.
