About this movie

Hutch is a nobody. As an overlooked and underestimated father and husband, he takes life's indignities on the chin and never rocks the boat. But when his daughter loses her beloved kittycat bracelet in a robbery, Hutch hits a boiling point no one knew he had. What happens when a pushover finally pushes back? Hutch flips from regular dad to fearless fighter by taking his enemies on a wild ride of explosive revenge. The writer of John Wick showcases Emmy® winner Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) as fans have never seen him before: an average family man who becomes a lethal vigilante unlike any ordinary action hero.

If you like John Wick, you're going to like this movie. Some of the predictable "just a flesh wound" moments from something fatal to anyone else are all done in line with the way an action movie should be. He has visible wounds, blood, and bruises. The cast did very well showing how someone beaten down for too long can really let loose and become a force to be reckoned with. It's the story of the underdog with little hints early on that he is dangerous. Falling Down could take a page from this.

If you've ever given up smoking only to give in when you had a really bad day years later that's what this films premise is. The turning point of this film is a simple excuse for him to let out his anger, then have a reason to keep on having a "just one more." This is a great popcorn film.

John Wick if he was a dad and about 10 years older. Fun enough to watch but it's the same general theme as JW (IMO) without the wife dying of cancer and the pup getting killed. Ex "badass" assassin who gets outta that life only get back in due to a bad run-in with the son of a Russian mob boss. Lots of bangs, lots of booms, and some Uncle Fester action. Worth a watch.
