About this movie

Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder finds the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he's ever faced – one of self-discovery. But his efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor's surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher's vengeance and stop him before it's too late. Directed by Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, Jojo Rabbit), from a story by Waititi & Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, Thor: Love And Thunder was produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum. WARNING: Some flashing-lights scenes in this film may affect photosensitive viewers.

I don't even know where to start. This movie is bad from start to finish. Stupid jokes/comedy every minute, Thor is not taken seriously, his arc got completely ruined from the previous movies, they made him a complete clown, and the villain's plan is to kidnap children to lure in Thor. The whole movie is a comedy of how bad it is. So glad Taika got fired, he got it coming. His narcisistic attitude got up to him and deserved it. He doesn't care. And the goats... the most annoying part of the film

SPOILERS: While I had high hopes for this movie, it fell flat. The kid dying in the first few minutes of the movie (even though she came back), the kids being stolen from their beds in the night (so can't watch with my kids like I can the other ones), and Jane's depressing storyline just killed it for me. There were certainly funny moments (but not the stupid goats), but not enough to outweigh the dark/sad parts. At least Thor 2 isn't the worst one anymore. :/

It was so bad at certain points I was cringing. Frankly, I was already feeling a bit of MCU fatigue. It's all just bloated and noisy at this point. Watching Chris Hemsworth throw his severely over steroided body around in this movie certainly didn't help that. Seriously, he has hot dog skin and can barely move his arms thanks to all the juice he pumped into his body for this role. Seriously, this is just a cashgrab. The jokes don't land. The whole thing is awkward and ultimately a waste of time
