Sad when this is what's considered a good horror film today. Worst film iv seen. This movie wouldn't scare a baby. I don't think the people on here have ever watched anything outside of Netflixs b rated horror films. Do yourself a favor and skip this its beyond terrible. You could make a more chilling and terrifying movie at home with halloween makeup, toddlers, and a cellphone camera.

I really enjoyed Annabelle: Creation. It has a quick moving plot, that gives alot more details than expected into the origin story of the sinister little doll. My only real criticism was the end of the movie, it felt suddenly rushed and a bit confusing. It felt like it was either a lead in to a future movie, or a nod to something I missed in the original. That being said, I still really liked the movie. Overall, I still enjoyed watching it and really love Sandbergs style. He tends to dispense with overly drawn out disbelief and cheesy tropes. His Annabelle films and Lights out are fun horror romps that are appropriately creepy and utilize, rather than abuse the tired old tactics that have become so common in recent horror. He is rekindling my enjoyment of the supernatural horror genre. I tend to wait until movies are cheap and availble to buy or rent online, but after watching Annabelle, Annabelle: Creation, and Lights Out, I will absolutely give his next horror flick a chance and actually go see it in theaters.

It's like a modern day six flags roller coaster, starts really great, your senses are kicked, the whole nine yard, then you pass the high point, and the rest is bad, almost like there was a shift in writers and directors. I was scared for the first half, but this movie then turns into a funny ass hell slasher film, the slasher even has a couple of one liners. Wished they stuck with the whole paranormal thing at the begining of the film, they did that really well even better then conjuring 1 and 2.
