I never expected a sequel to Blade Runner to ever happen, let alone be as good as 2049 is. Just like the original, 2049 rewards repeat viewings, peeling back the many layers of the story and the details of the world. We don't get much big budget high concept science fiction these days so it is truly a joy to watch what I believe to be a modern masterpiece.

It's one of those films that are really great but extremely slow. A lot of scenes lasts way too long than it should and this film could of been shorter and still just as great. That being said the plot is extremely good and I was hooked from start to finish. The acting is great and so is the CGI. The villain is the only thing that I found dull which is quite inevitable in a lot of movies but the sheer greatness of the film made up for that.

One of the worst films I've ever watched. I feel like the whole movie is all about the main character is wondering around and doing nothing. The worst thing for me is that I don't even know what this movie is all about. I regret watching it. Wasted 3 hours time (nearly).
