About this movie

Will Smith stars as Nicky, a seasoned master of misdirection who becomes romantically involved with novice con artist Jess (Margot Robbie). As he’s teaching her the tricks of the trade, she gets too close for comfort and he abruptly breaks it off. Three years later, the former flame—now an accomplished femme fatale—shows up in Buenos Aires in the middle of the high stakes racecar circuit. In the midst of Nicky’s latest, very dangerous scheme, she throws his plans for a loop…and the consummate con man off his game.

This was not an original tale by any means. It was, however, cleverly executed and very believable until the very end. The last 10-minutes or so completely ruins the movie making it a pretty ok matinee. If the ending was more real life. ....or even a bit ironic, this would have been a classic Will Smith movie. The sitcom ending completely kills and overcooks a flawless gormet dish.

I watched while at the airport and during my flight. It was just alright, easy to follow no big Ooo's or AaaHh's. Just ok. Something to past the time away💁...oh and as for the plot I do agree as someone previously stated the chain of events were too accommodating almost unbelievable to accommodate the storyline.

I really enjoyed every aspect of this movie, at least until the ending. Did they tack on scenes from a different movie? Will Smith (of whom I'm generally not a fan) gives a credible and entertaining performance as a con man. And the female lead is not only gorgeous, but also gives a nice performance. But during the movie's final scenes, Will Smith breaks character and I felt I was suddenly watching a different film. Really terrible ending, especially for what I thought was a very good movie. Too bad.
