About this movie

One of the most historically significant films of all time, Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s List is a powerful story whose lessons of courage and faith continue to inspire generations. Winner of seven Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director, this incredible true story follows the enigmatic Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson), who saved the lives of more than 1,100 Jews during the Holocaust. It is the triumph of one man who made a difference and the drama of those who survived one of the darkest chapters in human history because of what he did.

I thought all the performances were authentic. It drags you kicking and screaming back to why we really fought Hitler and his thugs in the first place. The film shows the true plight of anyone whom the nazis considered enemies and subhuman. It was--"in the blood" as the pseudo-scientific idiots exclaimed, even babies and small children were murdered. The film shows how the shallowest of us can change and save the innocent without reward. It is not for children or the faint of heart.

This story tells the amazing story of humanity in one of the darkest places in human history. As a world war 2 buff, I am very surprised I never saw this movie, I was expecting it to tell the tale of the murderous nazis the entire time, but the movie is actually about an angel in disguise. God bless Steven Spielberg for telling this story. In memory of the people who were murdered during the Holocaust. And jews who were persecuted and continue to be persecuted. May we one day all stand united, in humanity.
