Capone

A once-powerful and feared gangland legend ricochets between the present and the past in Fonzo, inspired by the last days of Al Capone. After serving 11 years for tax evasion, the notorious mobster (Tom Hardy) returns to life with his wife Mae (Linda Cardellini) at their opulent Florida estate. But the man who once ruled Chicago’s rackets with an iron fist and a gold-plated Tommy gun now suffers from rapidly advancing dementia caused by untreated syphilis. Haunted by memories of his violent past, he slips into a hallucinatory dream world as FBI agents positioned outside the gates of his lavish compound listen in, convinced Capone’s increasingly bizarre behavior is all an act.
