The Secret Garden

Don't let the trailer deceive you. The movie was incredibly boring. The movie created no sense of empathy for the characters. It was a boring jumbled mess. There was no sense of progress throughout the movie, no clear advancement of either plot or character until right at the end, and even then, it wasn't done in a satisfying way. Although was visually stunning at times, it didn't make up for its other faults. I've watched through bad movies before and found that it redeems itself in the end...But not with this film. Not worth watching. ***SPOILER ALERT*** It was so bad, not even when two of the main characters were in danger of burning alive did I care. By that time I was exhausted from watching such a boring movie, I was more relieved that it was over.

It was a very intriguing movie, portraying the strength of one girls beliefs and imagination and how that beliefs changes the lives of those around her.

Just from the trailer it's spellboundingly beautiful... what we all need at this noxious time...paradise...
