It's not for everyone but I've watched this about 8 years ago and I absolutely loved it. If you like psychological, strategy, character development, and immersive plot you will like this a ton, probably. It has really dated animation but as someone who's been watching anime since clannad first aired(no joke) this is a classic. But now there is a movie trilogy with current date animation of the source that I highly recommend. Misses some good stuff but better to see it then no code geass at all.

Let me start by genuinely stating that this show is the best I've ever seen, I literally love everything about it, from each thrilling episode, amazing twist that keeps me always interested, to every well develop character and their conflict with one another. I strongly admire lelouch and how he dedicates his life for the greater good of his sister's future and the world's fate. Lelouch is one of the greatest protagonists I have ever seen. I'm really hoping that this anime makes a s 3
