When FBI Agent Audrey Parker is called to Haven on a routine case, she finds her assignment has been killed in unexplainable fashion -- and when strange weather phenomena begin to strike the town -- and Audrey -- she begins to suspect that not everything is as it seems in Haven. As the weather events grow more destructive, Audrey discovers that someone in town might be more connected to the incidents than she could possibly imagine -- that Haven turns out to be a longtime refuge for people that are affected by a range of supernatural afflictions...

2 Butterfly

While Audrey tries to settle in as a Haven local and as a new police officer in town, she and Nathan investigate the seemingly random destruction of a local bar. When other strange events begin to occur -- even targeting Audrey herself -- they must race to figure what the connection could be, and what or who might be making them happen.

Audrey and Nathan investigate an upheaval at the local psychiatric hospital -- where something happened to make the patients normal for a time, but sent their doctor into madness. As they track down the escaped patients, Audrey and Nathan discover that whatever caused the temporary reversal has begun to spill across all of Haven -- making normal townspeople go dangerously insane.

Audrey remains in Haven to follow up on a clue to her own orphan past -- an old photo from the local newspaper, of the infamous "Colorado Kid" crime scene, reveals a woman who could be her mother. But Audrey stumbles upon another mysterious event in town, when food, fields, and even livestock around Haven all begin to die, and she joins with Nathan to investigate what the source of the epidemic could be -- and what's really happening in this extraordinary place.

When extremely old men mysteriously turn up dead in town -- and appear to be aging and decomposing at an extraordinary rate -- Audrey and Nathan begin to track down whatever must be preying upon the men of Haven. But Audrey and Nathan soon discover that even the animals in Haven are full of surprises.

While investigating the death of man tied to a Haven clinic, Audrey and Nathan stumble upon a local ghost story spread by patients there -- about a dark spirit that wanders the premises and takes the lives of sick people before their time. But what at first seems like a myth becomes all too real when the spirit claims more victims and directs its attention at Audrey.

Audrey's new Haven friends and acquaintances -- Nathan, Duke, Chief Wuornos, Vince, Dave, Eleanor and her daughter Julia -- attend a surprise party for her birthday at a nearby island hotel. But the mood quickly turns to fear and paranoia when the group discovers that a predatory shape-shifter has joined them -- meaning that one of them has been replaced by this thing. And the group must determine which of them is the imposter before it's too late.

While Duke helps Audrey look into the mystery behind the Colorado Kid and who was present the morning the body was discovered, Nathan pulls Audrey into a new case, tracking down a killer on the loose in Haven. But when they track down the one person present at the scenes of each crime, their suspect turns the tables on them: she claims to have been trying, and failing, to save the lives of people whose deaths she had already foreseen.

Agent Howard visits Haven to question Audrey about her strange behavior as a local policewoman, but the interrogation is derailed when two of the town's criminals hijack Duke's boat with Howard, Audrey and Duke aboard.

A mother and her two children haven long been tormented by Haven locals, who have blamed the late father of the family for a recent tragic accident in town -- the sinking of a charter boat -- ever since it claimed several lives. But when someone comes to harass the family and is literally sent flying from the home -- and when another tormentor is attacked by flying objects -- Audrey and Nathan begin to suspect that something or someone supernatural has taken control of the house. As Nathan works with Duke to uncover the truth behind the accident that claimed the father, Audrey stays to investigate whether one of the family members might be more "Troubled" than meets the eye.

13 Spiral

Audrey struggles with a shocking revelation in her investigation that the person she is searching for is not her mother, but actually herself. Meanwhile, a new mystery comes to town in the form of an enigmatic criminal with a past in Haven and ties to everyone from Duke, Vince and Dave, to Chief Wuornos and Nathan. Audrey and Nathan must act fast as the riddled mysteries that have been plaguing Haven suddenly grow worse, and they must connect the dots before the investigation falls apart.

But when FBI Agent Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) arrives on a routine case, she encounters the mysterious underside of Haven. Her investigation leads her to discover that certain people in Haven are supernatural in a way that can't be controlled - and they often hide in plain sight.

There just arent enough shows on the supernatural. And or in a intellectual setting.All these alien movies&zombie invasion.I get that some ppl just want to be entertained.But I have to be able to connect. You have to know how to separate Hollywood from actual great dialog. The exorcism of Emily rose; Dialogue with the priest&Laura linney"Brilliant"The clarity Emily rose has between the two trees," inspiring exorcist;The dialogue with the 2 priest"I draw from that. Not pea soup and head spinning.

I loved the great chemistry between the characters. They did a great job making it feel like they genuinely cared about each other and were deeply connected. You can see it in the nuances of their interactions. On top of the quirky sci-fi fun there is a theme of love, community and shared purpose. Wonderful ending too. It's another fun Syfy production with lots of heart.

I can't remember if Merlin season ending, or Continuim season ending, led me to this show, but they all drew me in. But the seasons of all of them were too sjort. I first started watching all 3 shows after WWE Smackdown, and they were all into a "new" season, but I pretty much caught up fast. I was without cable for the last season, so I had missed the finale. I watched it all on Netflix, in a binge, and...well it was just good that I didn't have a trouble of my own, because it definately would have went off when I found out the last episodes were not there. I did finally get to watch all of them, and it was sad to see all my new friends go. I would recommend this series to any fan of the Supernatural, because this goes far beyond the usual Vampires and Werewolves, because some of the troubles almost seem like they could really happen...and who knows...maybe they are!!!
