This is not a fast-paced film. It's much more reminiscent of horror films of the 1960s and 1970s, before horror became more about gore and jump-scares than mood or characters. The characters are well-fleshed out and charming. The scares, when they arrive, are good. But the plot is just a little bit thin for this to fully deserve its run-time. I get what the ending is going for, but it's still disappointing. Not so much because its sad but because we really don't get much in the way of answers. If you're looking for jump-scares, this isn't for you. If you're here for grue, this definitely isn't for you. If you want a solid plot with a shocking twist or tidied up ending that explains everything, this isn't for you. But if you like a good old-fashioned ghost story that takes its time and builds up the atmosphere, this is for you.

OMG, what a waste of time. This movie was slow—super slow!—with almost no payoff at all. Main actress was not up to the standards of the rest of the cast, and it took SOOOO long to make any kind of expositional headway. Totally cheesy and nowhere near as good as it could have been. If you're going to make the audience wait nearly 40 minutes for anything to happen, it better be good! This film failed to deliver. I sincerely feel ripped off. Yuck!

This movie is extremely boring and not scary. Litteraly nothing happens until the last 20 minutes. 90% of this movie is two annoying characters talking to each other. This might be the worst movie I’ve ever seen and a compete waste of two hours. There’s litterarly maybe 20 seconds of somewhat scary footage in this nearly 2 hour long movie.
