About this movie

One of the most anticipated cinematic events of the year, Gaspar Noe's ENTER THE VOID is a visionary thrill ride that's riveted audiences at the Cannes, Toronto, Sundance and SXSW film festivals. At Cannes, Manohla Dargis of The New York Times called it "an exceptional work... the work of an artist who's trying to show us something we haven't seen before".
The long-awaited follow up to his controversial IRREVERSIBLE, ENTER THE VOID is an immersive and mind-bending experience. Nathaniel Brown and Paz de la Huerta star in a visceral journey set against the thumping, neon club scene of Tokyo, which hurls the viewer into an astonishing trip through life, death, and the universally wonderful and horrible moments between.

I could not watch pass the car accident with the children. This movie is traumatic. I can't get that child's scream out of my head now. Turned it off as soon as that happened. I had to fast forward in the beginning also because the visual was on the screen for way too long. Maybe if I was already high. But the movie would have been 100x more taumatic if that were the case.

It's a bit hard to fully understand his movies without watching them in sequence, "I stand alone" and "irreversible". hope you have a iron stomach and a open mind:)

The movie feels like 2.5 hours, maybe that's because I watched it on my phone, but I will honestly never look at my life the same again. It's not a movie with a substantial plot, so just sit back, relax, and enter the void.
