About this movie

Johnny Knoxville reprises his Jackass role as 86-year-old Irving Zisman in the story of a crotchety old man unexpectedly saddled with the care of his 8-year-old grandson Billy (Jackson Nicoll). The two generations of troublemakers soon develop a bond, as they hustle their way across the heartland of America on an outrageous road trip with a whole lot of high jinks and pranks on unsuspecting, real-life people—all of whom had no idea they were starring in a "truly shocking"* hidden camera comedy. *Fred Topel, CRAVEONLINE.com

Knoxville stars in this overly scripted comedy which lacks the zany appeal of previous films in the "Jackass Universe." There are some laughs to be had, but most scenes fall flat and wear out their welcome long before they're through. Blame it on a bar set so high by the other films and a lack of supporting cast (Margera, Steve-O, etc.)

i live for jackass but... this.was..horrible? i expected pranks without a storyline.. and i say "storyline" very generously.. you can tell that the majority of the scenes are staged , although they say it's not blah blah.. i expected more if they would have cut out the story line and just had the kid and Johnny run around doing crazy stuff best movie ever.. but it just seems like a waste.. I'm like actually sad.

Didn't actually download and watch on here, but never the less watched thru red box and was just flat out disappointed. I couldn't even make it through the whole thing. And I have loved all the other things Knoxville has been part of, but this movie blows goats!
