About this show

Richard Dean Anderson steps into the irresistible and charming role of Ernest Pratt, a dime-store novelist who is living out the adventures of his fictional character Nicodemus Legend in the Old West. Co-starring John de Lancie as Janos Bartok a brilliant scientist, the duo teams up to fight for justice using Legend's celebrity and Bartok's outlandish inventions to make a real legend. Created by Michael Piller and set in the late 19th century, LEGEND combines historic characters, setting, and special effects for a lighthearted, fun, and action-packed series that is part western and part science fiction..

Awesome show, about 15 years ahead of it's time. This show is the best of what wild west steam punk can be but done in 1995. Richard Dean Anderson and John de Lancie are both at their best here and the show doesn't take it self too seriously to throw in all manner of sci-fi homages.

Who knew Q and O'Neill would be a good dynamic duo. Hated that it ended so soon.
