Small Town Crime

Exceptionally well done movie. I thought for sure this was going to be another cheesy cop flick, but this was more believable than most. The characters didn't come together until the end, but it was the perfect cast. I never lost interest throughout and didn't feel there were too many lulls in the story. John Hawkes does a fantastic job convincing you that he is an a-hole and may get his S&*t together. Action scenes were played well and the story worked and captures your attention. I appreciated all the characters in this movie and really loved the end fight scene as well as the final scene in the movie.

John Hawkes does a great job as a down on your luck, heavy drinker who climbs up out of the abyss and redeems himself, with some good humor along the way. Loved it!

Good flick. Could have had a better ending though.
