About this movie
Amit (Amitabh Bachchan) a poet decides to bury his past life along with his love for Chandni (Rekha) when he meets Shobha (Jaya Bachchan). Shobha's life has come to a standstill after her fiancé and Amit's brother Shekhar (Shashi Kapoor) dies in a plane crash.
Amit had only come to mourn the death of his brother with Shobha but ends up sacrificing his own love and life in an attempt to give shobha a new lease of life. When fate brings Amit and Chandni face to face again, both are married to different people - but neither can ignore their feelings for each other.
SILSILA is a story, thwarted by society's demands, which reappear as adultery but can it survive in the face of society?

Silsila is really in the true of the term a classic movie in which we find the theme, story, action, location etc. everything simply classical. The casts there like the King of Action - Amitabhaji Bachchan, cute n accurate in expression & appearance - Rekha and very sensitively emotive Jaya Bhaduri-Bachchan. The music of Shiv-Hari is extremely melodious and soothing. A d above all, the script is written & presented in such a way that that it appears Real Life Story. One hardly feels tired some while watching Silsila movie. Rather, it creates an interest in you & ssustains in you. Therefore, I believe it deserves Five Sters. Thank you all.

One should not marry with the to be wife of his own brother even if he dies.Like the Amitabh did in this film. According to me it was absolutely wrong decision taken and applied by Amitabh in this film. Instead of doing this he would have married to Rekha in this movie and should have done the abortion of Jaya Bachchan and after that he should try to do second marriage of Jaya Bachchan to somebody else. Because of Amitabh's wrong decision in this movie I have given this movie just 2 star rating.

So sweet to the store to get up to today I have is IIIT the same as last week I had a great day at work and get the chance and get back with me if I could have been with us cellular and I have to do it again in at least the next time we can say is I have a great day I don't think I have is IIIT in at the moment I would be at least to get a new year to the hotel to airport and I am going there now and your family and get the best of game of April to see you then we are not filtered and concentrat
