I feel like the writer must have been spying on my childhood. Sure some of the details have been changed, but I myself, and along with countless other friends and classmates have Maisie inside of us. If ever a parent wonders what divorce does to a child, watch this movie. Chances are most kids wont have a Maisie ending. The flip side is no one wants to feel unwanted by a spouse either. Its a catch 22.

Maisie knew more then her parents. This movie shows rich parents who are too busy or just didn't care so they paid someone to watch their daughter. At the end Maisie knew what was best for herself.

I liked the movie, it very beautiful. Sometimes it didn't really have direction, but I enjoyed it nontheless and think it a very important movie to show awareness to a child caught in the middle of divorce.
