I love that they are using clips from the original movie in his flashbacks. I enjoyed the book and all 3 of the movies when I was a young teen. The series is disconnected from those sequels, however -- Damien is already supposed to know who he is (finding out while at a military prep school), so that is a little baffling to start the series with. Otherwise, good work!

Is this a follow the the original '76 film or the '06 remake just wondering. (im only giving this a 1 star because i havent seen or heard of this untill Friday, October 13, 2023 and because i have only watched the 2006 Remake ofThe Omen

This show was wonderful! Can't believe they didn't give it a shot. Something about numbers not being high enough for the pilot episode. Did they bother watching the REST of it?? Please TV Gods bring this one back!! Preacher was brought back after they cancelled it after four or five shows. Now they are working on their 3rd season. The potential that this show has is exponetial and should be brought back! there are LOTS of fans out there and I certainly am one.
